My name is Simone Bjerre Krogh. I am thirty-three years old, married to Claus and together we have our son Luie.
I have always known that I wanted to work in a creative environment, and realized when I was four years old, that I wanted to become an animator. Because it was released the same year that I was born, my mother bought Disney’s Beauty and the Beast for me. I will never forget the magical opening scene, that with all its beauty made me realize that I was in for something quite amazing. I told my mother that for the rest of my life I just wanted to make others feel, exactly what I just felt. Through hard work and years of practice I finally got my bachelor’s degree in animation and character design at The Animation Workshop. I graduated in January 2021 and started working as an animator right away. I never saw myself as a teacher, but life is often very peculiar and suddenly I spectated myself moving my whole life away, away from everything I knew, to start a new job as an animation teacher. Here I met the love of my life. I also love cats, video games, tv series, movies, long hikes in nature with my family, building furniture’s, painting, baking and occasionally watching the British bakeoff.
